metallic accent wall
This job was a lot of fun.Orchistrated by Nouveau Contempory goods designer Lynne Cofflin, and subcontracted thru Twin Diamond studios, this baby was all mine (mostly).I was given a colorway and was allowed to just create…the result pulls the metallic accents thoughout the room together without conflicting with the framed artwork, or the other decorative painting in the hallways and entryway.
The owners of this painting bought several other paintings from me during my show at Donnas in Mt.Vernon but the mantle remained bare until they commissioned me to make this special painting for them. We had a sit down and walk thru of their Fells Point home and I was sure I could reflect their idividual style and colorway.I think I did.We were all pleased with the end result.

5 Buddahs a painting by commission
This is a collaberation between the noted interior designer Susan Sunderland, Twin Diamond Studios and some sweat equity from me. A marvelous combination of elegance, charm, sophistication and know how. Susan said, “money well spent” upon her arrival and I beamed with pride, then immediatly called Twin Diamonds to bragg on myself for pleasing the designer, the client and ultimately them!A good days work.

This room turned out fantastic and truley complimented their already determined accents and golden hues seen throughout the room.

Metallic Linen
This project was an awesome experience for me.The client had a previously painted metallic blended sponge in this room but never really liked the way it turned out and after the years it also looked extremely dated.Everyone in his family urged him to leave it alone that the existing room was “fine” and not to spend the money for a new look.Thankfully he refused to listen and hired me to help.My goal was to make all the naysayers say “money well spent” at the end of the day.they did.
