CONSULT
CONSULTING FOR YOUR INTERIOR DESIGN, FAUX PAINTING PROJECT
I have painted for a ton of people, in every social class, and in many different settings. Many of them have been unsure of what to expect from a decorative painter, or from their faux painting project. How much does faux-painting cost? What will it look like? How long does faux-painting take?
The reality is that each project is different, based on the size of your room, the type of faux finish you’re looking for and the prep-work that must be done in order to complete the task. It’s no wonder people often seek direction when considering incorporating decorative painting in to their interior design project.
Let me help you through the process. Baltimore Artstar offers a free consultation where we can discuss the details of your faux-painting project. You’ll be able to view samples of the type of painting you’re curious about, ask me as many questions as you’d like about the project, and ultimately get a clear idea of exactly what you’re getting in to as far as cost, time and design are concerned.
Call or email The Artstar about your decorative painting project. I’m here to help!

TESTIMONIALS:
Dear Kelly Walker,
The powder room you painted for the show house was absolutely stunning! It truly stood out in a show house that was otherwise pretty much devoid of originality. I hope we’ll see more of your work in future show houses.

Greetings: I would be remiss if I did not take a few minutes to thank you for sending Kelly to our ice damaged home. She is no less than brilliant. We sustained ice damage in February — it’s now May and we are just starting to see our house being put back together. It’s been a tiresome, frustrating and downright exasperating experience. I can say without hesitation that the only good thing that WP & M did in terms of fixing our home was assign Fewster Painting, who in turn, put Kelly on the case to paint our house.
I met with Kelly before the actual “faux day.” Her customer service, friendliness and knowledge are superb. While I still seriously doubted that she could recreate a now non-existent Ralph Lauren Linen Finish on the top of the chair rail of my kitchen, it is with enthusiastic joy that I admit that I was so, so, completely wrong. Kelly is a wizard. Her ability to envision a process, envision a color that matches existing paint and then bring it to a beautiful fruition is, in my opinion, extraordinary. Kelly is a gem, talented, friendly, fun to work with and must grow four arms when no one is looking. The woman is a painting-beast. She knocked out four faux finishes in one day. I am the original painter of all of these faux finishes and I must admit that while I have a few years on Kelly, there is absolutely no way in this life that I could have done what she did. I would have ended up repainting the entire rooms.
Ron, your crew that sanded and primed WP & M’s mess in the entry and kitchen did yoeman’s work. The bedroom and ceiling that they painted is true craftmanship. Thank you so much for sending Jose and Kelly.
Sam and Tim — I say this as both an extremely satisfied customer and someone who knows a thing or two about making paint sing — Kelly is an artist and a master of her trade. She is undoubtedly an asset to your company. She is pure joy — both personally and professionally. I am in awe. Thank you to all of you for helping to make one part of this rather painful experience so easy and provide such a wonderful outcome.

Kelly –
My name is Melissa Carrick. I bought a painting from you a little over a year ago, at El Rancho Grande. (My then fiance Zeke picked it up for me, as I was not yet living in Baltimore).
Anyway. . .I now am married, and living in Balto. Your painting hangs in my office, which is in the old district police buildign on 34th and Keswick! Every new patient who visits walks past your work, on the way to a consultation (and I get to see it every time I enter my personal office!). Nearly every patient admires the painting (and some even ask if I had someone paint it for the space).
Anyway, I just wanted you to know that your work is admired and well loved. Thanks for the beauty it adds to my life and office.
Pax,
Melissa Carrick, DC
