Dated Faux Finishing Before and After

This before and after photo outlines a perfect example of what i have been doing alot of lately.This repeat customer wanted a re fresher in her master bedroom, so instead of doing a complete redo we did a simple 2 step process to the already treated surfaces to dramatically change the room by using what was there as a base.

when 2 rooms unite using colors from both in the form of a stencil can really join the spaces. the diningroom was a red strie,while the next room was a pinkish strie.using a nutral blend and a stencil pattern using the colors from both rooms visually unite the pass thru room.

with the help of Balage Balough we created and exicuted a sweet ceiling medallion using colors from both the wood tones,carpet and window treatments to create a subtle focal point in this dressing room.

Hopsack Finish

thie latex wall finish was chosen to join several stark contrasting colors in this roland park bedroom. using the greens,taupes,yellows and greens seen in the window treatment i came up with a wall finish to complete the room.

Munsey Silver Leaf Ceiling

This Project was exciting, and impressive as anything i do for designer Patrick Sutton always is! I love that guy and its an honor to be among his arsenal of top quality craftsmen. We had a small budget, as the paper origonally set for this space was on back order but my crew and I pulled it off! Its some of the best gilding ive done in years.It took 6 teirs of scaffolding and 8 rolls of silver leaf to complete but it completely transformed this Historic Baltimore turned Luxury Highrise Apartment Building.

this 36/48 inch painting was a hit at this years solo show i had at Baltimores Silo Point.It literally could have sold 19 times, i recieved several commissions to recreate this beauty, but now it is proudly displayed in a Silo Point residence.
