There are many different kinds of leaf, including silver leaf, bronze leaf and copper leaf, and they come in the form of tissue-thin sheets of metal.

For this project, I used a gold leaf, and brushed it on to the dining room ceiling surrounding the chandelier, and surrounded by custom moulding. The end result was a beautiful and elegant room with a warm and inviting feel.
